Take A Look At Your Blog, Then Improve It
July 28th 2008 19:41
Behind every blog there is a blogger who may or may not care about the future of their blog, but for those that do care, An audit is needed to improve your blog, to see what works and what doesn't.
Every page and aspect of your blog has to be analyzed and then optimized to build a better content focused blog, but also an interactive blog that you can build up your comment discussions with other readers who will read your posts.
You simply cannot put up a few ads and say I am the expert in making money
and then abandon your blog.
Trial and error play a large part in this blogging and content management way of writing, testing and tweaking, then focusing your energies into the positive impact of unique and original content.
Audits can only take a couple of hours and they can seriously improve your blog, included in your audit could be -
updating old posts
adding links to new relevant blog posts
Affiliate and ad placement, trial an error works best here
Always check for spelling and grammar through old posts
Diving into your blogs traffic statistics
Of coure these are only a few things you could look for, but again try and keep the end goal of a better blog in sight and how your readers will view your blog, ask your readers if you wish, but that is another audit that really needs to be done seperately from the above audit!
