Blog post series are a collection of blog posts that all fit a certain topic and are separate blog posts which deal with a small part of the blog series as a whole and these are very good at attracting readers in, especially if you provide really great information within your blog post series and interlink them so that new readers can go from part one to part 5 or however long your post series is.
Useful ideas for a blog posts series could include:-
A check list of action steps - For example you could have over 100 action steps for your readers to consider taking and then split them up into a five part blog post series with 20 steps in each and you simply write the benefit of each step and how you could achieve it.
How to do something - Anything that is related to your blogs niche, you could create a photo how to blog post series that shows people exactly the steps how to do something, you could show people how to install a blog with screen shots or something that is totally relevant to your blogs topic.
Case studies - Case studies are great as you can target your niche in an analytical manner with stats and other metrics or you could look at a blog in your niche and take an in depth look at how they have approached their blogs content and how effective or ineffective certain areas are, naturally you would link to their blog and show more positive areas of the blog to create a sense of community.
Blog post series are really effective at presenting something in detail, so make them count in your blogs archive.
