Mixing Up Your Post Types

Sometimes being crazy and extreme could be the way to go on your blog, but other times being very helpful and informative could also be the best option, but what are the different posting formats that you could use on your blog?
News posts - These are the informative blog posts that could take an objective view on your subject matter and take it to the factual level that you need, a product review of a new product or service for example is one way of providing a news blog post.
By being honest in your writing of the news that has been released about a product or service within your target market could also provide useful information for those who didn't catch the original press release from the original news source.
How To Posts - These are quite often the professional blog posts of choice as free and useful content far outweighs what you did at work whilst eating a bowl of noodles and gossiping about someone who has a big nose ( yes this happens!)
Useful free content that reads like you should be paying for it, is used by webmasters and bloggers who want to appear quite knowledgable in their subject matter, so they can build their business or library of content.
Personal Posts - These are the types of blog posts that most blogger eventually writes in some form, they feel that no matter how much they write about their expertise, they always feel the need to blog about a day in their life or something of personal importance, this is quite useful on random occasions as your readers may find it interesting especially as they have got to know you over time through your blog and then are suddenly presented with a personal story or life event.
Keeping these types of posts to a minimum, also keeps things fresh for the reader, you don't want to turn your niche blog into a rant about the state of the world through your opinion or anything like that, but on occasion this could provide a unique insight into your as a person that is easily relatable to your blog readership.
Guest Posts - These are great in many ways as you don't have to write, you just have to accept guest bloggers who will write the content for you in exchange for their blog link to be added at the end of their guest posts, this frees up a little time for you also and adds new content to your blog aswell as new insights that are written in a unique style.
Usually though guest blogging is a two way thing and you may find yourself writing for the other bloggers blog, but this is good to, it builds a relationship with other bloggers and quite often generates a bit of traffic and community within your target market, so it's all good either way!
These above are the main types of blog posts, but along the way you will find others that fit into your blog marketing that will be be useful in your blogging arsenal, just keep blogging about what you love and you will get seen and read often!
